Why join the SEMCACFE?

 

 

  • We meet at St. John's Banquet Center in Southfield the first Thursday of each month (with the exception of July and August) for our Monthly Chapter Dinner Meeting.
  • At these meetings, enjoy dinner and listen to speakers present both timely and important information for our profession.  Earn CPE's at these meetings as well.
  • Attending these meetings is an excellent opportunity for you to network with your fellow members.
  • The cost to attend our Monthly Chapter Dinner Meetings is $30 for members and $40 for non-members.  Non-members can attend two meetings at the first-time guest rate of $30/each.  After that, non-members pay $40 to attend Monthly Chapter Dinner Meetings.
  • We also encourage and invite our members to consider participating as a guest speaker at our Monthly Dinner Meetings or provide educational articles for our Newsletter.
  • Each spring, we hold our Annual Fraud Conference in which we invite top speakers to present and an opportunity for attendees to earn up to 8 CPE's.
  • Need Ethics?  You can find it offered at one of our Chapter Dinner Meetings or Annual Conference.
  • Membership Dues are as follows:

                             $50.00 - CFE
                             $35.00 - CFE (Retiree/Government Employee)
                             $55.00 - *Associate Member
                             $35.00 - *Associate Member (Retiree/Government Employee)
                             $55.00 - Affiliate Member
                             $35.00 - Affiliate Member (Retiree/Government Employee)
                             $25.00 - Student Member

                             *Associate Member applicants must include verification of current Associate Membership
                              status with the ACFE.
