**Notice: Our monthly meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend. However, after two meetings, you will be asked to join our Chapter. Chapter Dues are $50.00 per year. If you choose not to join our Chapter, you are still welcome to attend, but the Chapter Dinner Meeting cost will be $40.00.


About the Speaker:  Jigisha is a CPA with over 16 years of finance and audit experience including experience working in public accounting with Ernst & Young (“EY”). She has a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia. Jigisha is also a Certified Fraud Examiner with experience in performing fraud investigations. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and has served on the Advisory Council of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Jigisha started her career at Ernst & Young in Atlanta where she was a part of the Assurance and Advisory Business Services group. During her 4 years at EY, she developed a working knowledge of US GAAP, NASD and SEC rules related to Brokers and Dealers while working on a large SEC foreign filer in the banking and financial services industry. After leaving Ernst & Young, Jigisha worked in Internal Audit with Oldcastle and LexisNexis, traveling extensively around the world to different company divisions performing integrated audits to assess effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records and conformity with IFRS, efficiency of operations, and special investigations.

Jigisha relocated to Louisville to join Humana Internal Audit in 2011 as the Audit Manager of the Commercial/Acquisition segment. She led the Commercial/Acquisition team in proactively addressing risks, evaluating compliance status and monitoring for change management. Her role responsibilities included building relationships across Humana, performing engagements and communicating observations to drive change and optimize risks. In 2014, Jigisha transitioned to Employer Group Finance supporting the Broker/GA distribution sales for the East and West region. Jigisha led a team of consultants each with a defined territory supporting the East and West Commercial sales team. Her team was responsible for the annual membership budget setting process, monthly sales and terms projection, annual operating expense and FTE budget setting process and market/channel profitability reporting.

Jigisha joined Ally Financial as an Audit Manager in Detroit supporting the Dealer Financial Services group in 2017. In her current role, she is responsible for audit project management, resource management, and relationship management specific to Ally’s Auto Finance and Insurance business. Mostly recently, Jigisha was selected to be part of a pilot rotational program between Audit and Compliance supporting Auto Finance Compliance.

Outside of work, Jigisha is actively involved in organizations with a community focus. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for her Home Owner’s Association and also volunteers with Easterseals of Michigan. She has held numerous other board positions including serving as the founding Board of Directors and Treasurer for KYK9 Search and Reunite Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to utilizing scent-specific search dogs to locate missing persons.
